Erin was born in Burlington, Iowa on the Mississippi River – a farmer’s community with one of the curviest streets in the world, Snake Alley. At 14, she started working the phones in the family business, Fox Appliance & Kitchen Center (1944-2002). Graduating in 1992 from the University of Iowa, she’d won the Kuhl Shakespeare Writing Contest and second place at the International Flipper Pinball Association’s World Championship Tournament that same year.

Erin entered real estate working between classes as a property development firm’s receptionist. The first of many gigs as a Resident Manager followed, as did the initiation to tenant issues, housing undergrads in a Big 10 college town.

But Iowa winters had taken their toll. Having never visited Hawaii and bouncing off the exuberance of the journey’s pals, Erin landed in Hilo in July, 2001. Midwest mentality and the Aloha spirit are alike, so meshing with island life was seamless and east-side Big Island became home. Erin and her partner Leroy bought their Ainaloa home in 2009 and share happy times with family and friends, playing with their dogs, and camping and fishing.

Erin earned her Hawaii Real Estate Salesperson License in January of 2002 and has managed properties in Hilo and Puna ever since. Active participation in the Big Island East Chapter of NARPM, the National Association of Residential Property Managers, polishes skills and ethics. Put Erin’s 25 years of experience to work for you.
